I think Shayne and I knew the moment Emily walked out of the Picton Harbour Inn where she was getting ready, that this Crystal Palace wedding was going to be AWESOME! We couldn’t have been more right. From their beautifully intimate ceremony to the suspender limbo and the amazing karaoke version of Gangnam Style, this wedding was certainly one for the books.
Emily, was in one word, stunning. Her custom-made tea-length dress from Vintage Bride in Toronto was gorgeous and from her shoes to her fascinator she resembled a 1950s movie star.
Jordan, who I met about an hour or so later at Crystal Palace was calm, relaxed, and donning the largest grin from ear-to-ear. His excitement was apparent but it was his instant sense of kindness that made me know these two were perfect for one another. Meet either Jordan or Emily separately (as I did that day) and you quickly feel part of their lives. Know them together and you feel like you have found your newest friends.
Thank you Jordan and Emily for allowing me to share in your day and witness some of your awesome dance moves!
Note: I was lucky enough to be referred this wedding by an awesome sauce photographer in Hamilton Claire Dam. Claire had photographed a dear friend and wedding planner extraordinaire Breanna Black. Every detail of Jordan and Emily’s day, from the beautiful centrepieces to the #instagram hashtag had been carefully created by Breanna.
