Client meetings are often an interesting occurrence, much like a first date, you are there to impress, and at the end of it walk away feeling excited about your next meeting. Meeting Alex and Heather, was like one of those great first dates. We immediately clicked and I instantly knew I wanted to have these two in front of my camera. They were charismatic, sarcastic, full of laughter and just all around awesome.
Navigating through a few bumps along the wedding planning road (including an unexpected change of venue), Heather’s vision of making Prince Edward County a big part of their day was evident all around. The custom named tables, seating map, local wine from Devil’s Wishbone and Hinterland and catering by East and Main, really allowed their guests to experience this gorgeous place, I am lucky to call home and one that Alex and Heather have fallen in love with.
Minus a slightly major rain storm, the day couldn’t have been more perfect or provided better light. Without a doubt this wedding reminded me over and over again that I am so blessed to be able to photograph such amazing couples for a living.
