Dom and Amanda reached out to me on a Friday, they were planning their Elopement in Prince Edward County for the following Thursday, July 4. This didn’t end up being the day they got married though, but it would become equally important.
After coming clean to their family about what they were planning, they couldn’t help but rearrange things slightly. On the Saturday that followed, the closest people in their lives were able to witness their joy and love as they committed themselves to one another. Amanda told me later that day that Dom had proposed on their original wedding day, as they enjoyed a day for themselves at Sandbanks. The engagement ring was completely unexpected but she was absolutely overjoyed.
The original choice for their wedding location was going to be Lakeshore Lodge, they opted for a secret house in Picton incase of foul weather. Following their ceremony we took advantage of the still clear sky and headed out to Little Bluff for some photos. We watched the storm roll in from the cliff and wrapped up just in time before the sky opened.
It was an Elopement in Prince Edward County I will never forget, and I was so honoured to be a part of it.
