Let’s face it, we really have no idea when we will be able to resume having large gatherings. While many of my own clients pushed their larger wedding to 2021, many decided to go forward with the small and intimate option, and I see this trend continuing into 2021. It’s always my goal to not only capture and showcase gorgeous imagery in this space, but also be a resource to those looking to get married in Prince Edward County. With this in mind I have put together a list of the top five elopement venues in Prince Edward County.
I asked each of these venues to share what they offer to those looking to elope in Prince Edward County. I hope this information is helpful as you consider your elopement.
100 Acre Wood
Our elopement package consists of the Ceremony space – indoor or outdoor, and dinner for the couple featuring a custom seven course menu.
If couples are looking to just do the ceremony and cocktail hour that is also fine too. We are happy to offer both and work with them.

Carriage Lane Elopements
We cate exclusively to elopements and micro weddings. Our packages are based on individual needs but include an officiant, photography, florals, celebratory drinks, chacuterie platter, mini wedding cake, ceremony music and onsite coordination.
We also provide white antique garden benches, salvaged church pews and wooden chairs for the ceremony. As well as an arbor, property staging and vintage plates and glassware.
As this is our particular specialty we offer both weekend and weekday availability.

Compass Rose
We have two options for those considering an elopement at Compass Rose. We offer an elopement package for 15 people or less and we have an all inclusive mid-week small wedding package for 50 people or less (COVID restrictions may apply).
Included in the elopement package is a one night stay, catering for six hours (cocktail, plus dinner OR dinner plus dessert), planning and rentals.
Included in the small wedding package is full catering (cocktail, dinner, dessert, and late night eats), two nights stay, planning, rentals, decor, bar and food staff.
For our elopement/small wedding package we just offer midweek options, our full venue rate is open to any size on weekends.

Drake Devonshire
Our elopement package is intended for two, that is, just you + your sweetheart with the option to bring along two witnesses for the ride.
The Package includes a one-night’s stay + wedding ceremony in your hotel room (with the option to upgrade to the Owner’s Suite), Certified Officiant, Drake preferred Photographer, Florals and a few extra goodies/perks once on site including a picnic basket on arrival and a bottle of bubbly!
The Rates (2020 – please confirm with the Drake Devonshire for most up to date information):
+ Bookable Sunday – Thursday pending rooming availability
+ Bookable up to one week in advance, subject to availability
+ January – March starting at $2,105 per couple + HST
+ April – December starting at $2,245 per couple + HST
Unfortunately weekends are excluded, but we do have intimate wedding packages for up to 13 guests available on weekends in our Glassbox!

The Grist Mill
We are excited to offer elopement or micro wedding packages. Our packages for 2021 are offered Sunday after 4PM and Monday through Friday. Packages are detailed below (2021 pricing).
Package A – $6,500
This package is for two hours with 50 guests + couple (COVID restrictions may apply), and includes your officiant, photographer, bouquet + boutonniere (or two of the same), grazing platter, coordinator, and styled ceremony space.
Package B – $9,000
This package is for four hours with 50 guests + couple (COVID restrictions may apply), and includes your officiant, photographer, bouquet + boutonniere (or two of the same), grazing platter, coordinator, and styled ceremony space.
